A sad time has come.... I have the complete car for sale - has about 9 months MOT and is totally standard apart from Aero front wipers and a K&N panel filter (Resonator box removed)
It has just had new big end bearings, but need a crank re-grind as cyclinder 3 is still knocking.
New oil and filter (for what its worth!) done as well. Car runs and sounds sweet as a nut on tickover, but starts catching on rev up.
Has done 106K
Just replaced the front wishbones, track rod ends and drop links and had her tracked.
Usual spec:
* White Dials
* Remote Locking
* 15" Speedline alloys - Two front tyres on legal limit (Federals) and two back ones fine (Yoko's)
* Sports seats
* ETC!! - Everyone on here knows what they are!
I have been on the Clubaleno.us forum as did not know you guys were here!..
They helped me get the information needed for the rebuild and have suggested that it may just need an oversize bearing on Cyl 3?.. Only about £15.00 from Japarts... Just cannot give up the time needed to get her up and running again. It is not an expensive job to get sorted, but I have no garage and doing it on a drive in winter is bloody aweful!
Otherwise, the Baleno is in really good condition, barely any marks at all and looks lovely when cleaned up.
I also have a set of 17" Six spoke alloys with really good tyres that fit the Baleno, but never got round to fitting them!!...
