Hi from Melbourne, Australia - 2000 Baleno GLX 1.6 sedan

Hi all,

Just bought my first Baleno a week and a half ago. I wanted a cheap easy car (my last car was a 1968 Jaguar Mk2, it was an unreliable expensive nightmare but damn it looked good).

So I bought a 2000 GLX manual sedan. I'm loving my new car. It's fun, easy, reliable (so far), quick, and really cheap to run.

I didn't expect to like it so much, but it's already grown on me. Now I'm interested in tweaking it to get a bit better performance and look a bit more interesting.

Here are photos of my new Baleno. She's totally stock and rather uninteresting at the moment, all I've changed is paint the front honeycomb grille silver (existing gunmetal paint was totally crap and chipped to hell).
