hey well in my area every chav and his dog has a saxo vtr, which im sure you all know is dealt with very easily by a baleno gsr! but the most interesting race iv experianced was with a proton satria gti which if you dont know is also a 1.8 16v. the protons put out roughly 130 bhp standard and the baleno gsr 120 bhp, so not massive difference especially when u add in the extra weight the proton has over the baleno, roughly 80kgs i believe. i discovered the protons standard suspension is far superiour to the balenos! but on the straights the baleno pulls away noticeably, only in the corners does the proton prove its worth! anyway look forward to seeing one about now i have my baleno lowered!

they dont do a turbo one except for the diesel. but the j20 2litre is like 138 bhp so its not slow. and if you know the right people u can turbo it. get up to 300bhp out of it. scary stuff

That's impressive. Where you from? Any idea what management system it's using? Or what boost it's running? Make sure it's a j20 before u get it or you could have trouble fitting it

ahh, im from colwyn bay in the north of wales. can you let me know what management it uses if you get it? and what psi its running. that would be awesome, you would leave most cars! im going up the turbo route myself. only looking to run about 8psi of boost at around 220bhp to begin with
