i found a place nearby that will do laser tracking for £25 so i'll pop round there n see if they can sort it out.
better to get it done there than take another chance with kwikfit.

Bessie (my Baleno) had her MOT today and it wasn't great. not tragic tho.
it failed on the track rod end having to much play and the dust cover was shot so needed a new one. £111.95 later it's all done and passed. sound good right.... well it was Kwikfit so not really good... now the tracking is out and the car drifts to the left, also the steering wheel's straight position is at about 2o'clock... i hate Kwikfit. my father keeps telling me to take it back and get them to sort it, but theres no way them fcukers are getting there hands on my baby again. it's something I'd kinda like to fix myself if i can as money is tighter than a crack ho's pupils atm. i have a shit load of tools, a semi-pretty wife to make my cups'o'tea, but sadly no idea how to do it... anyone gimme a wright up on how to sort it out? I'll owe ya a pint! ![]() |

Bloody weather this month has been a pain in the backside. cars been hit with all sorts of flying debris, to add insult to injury someone reversed into me with a transit flat bed style and done a good amount of damage where cost is conserned. Now i know why there are not many balenos around, because suzuki's parts prices are unreal. Just don't know how they can justify the prices. At first i thought the guy only burst my number plate, but on closer inspection he creased and scratched my bonnet, burst the number plate, damaged my bumper grill and suzuki badged grill, damaged my drivers headlight and bent in the small panel behind the grill. So all in all through a body shop the quote was £1200 and my car book price is probably only half that. Soooooo the insurance company might write my car off
and i really dont want that. This is defonatly not a good time of year for this all to be happening either |
